Welcome to South Dakota Automated Permitting System:

For those who have never had a permit with South Dakota click “Register if you do not have an account”.

For those who are in the system but don’t have a user account, contact Motor Carrier Services at the division office at 605-773-4578 for the activation link.

To order permits over the phone, contact the permit center at 605-224-SEMI (7364) option 1. PERMIT CENTER HOURS 7:00am - 7:00pm M-F. If you have general motor carrier questions call the same number with option 2.
